The Beavers defeated the Illinois College Blueboys tonight to improve to 8-5. The Beavers were led by Duncan King who scored 24 in the Beaver victory. The Blackburn rally started with a halftime buzzer-beating three-pointer from Reed Rusten to pull the Beavers within seven with a halftime score of 46-39. The Beavers would outscore IC 52-36 the rest of the game and comeback to win 91-82.
Blackburn shot 56.3% from the floor and went 34 of 64. The team high in rebounds was split between Jake Lochhead and Karson Hayes. Lochhead also led the home team in assists with three. Nigel Ferrell led the team in steals with three. The team leaders in blocks were Malcolm Scott and Savion Smith with both players recording three.
