Blackburn College Senior Outfielder Daniell Burnell was just named to the Pre-Season All-American Team by Fastpitch News. Burnell, from Lapel, Ind., hit .432 with 3 home runs and 33 runs batted in last season. She added 12 doubles and held a .509 on-base percentage and a .670 slugging percentage while finishing with 26 runs scored. Burnell ranked in the top five among all conference players in doubles, batting average, and on-base percentage.
