Blackburn College Junior Outside Hitter Kendall Knop was just named to the third team of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's All-Conference Volleyball Team. Knop, from Strasburg, Illinois, led the Beavers in kills, digs and serve aces. Her 429 digs is the 3rd highest season total in school history. Knop averaged 4.71 digs per set which was the 4th highest total in the SLIAC this season.
"Kendall is probably one of the best players we've seen on this campus in years, she has played high level volleyball in the past and it shows," said Blackburn Coach Jim Hunstein. "Kendall is one of the best players I have other coached and she is extremely coachable, I believe she is easily one of the top ten players in the conference," added Hunstein.
Knop was a big part in Blackburn having the most victories since the 2000 season.
