CARLINVILLE, IL -- Junior Nick Cook and freshman Jeremiah Crisp earned Blackburn College Athletes of the Week.

Cook had a total of 23 points in past week's matchup vs Grinell, he led men's basketball at the line shooting 83% and had 5 defensive rebounds to help turn points for the Beavers.

Crisp led the men's wrestling team with 1 win at 149lbs, over an athlete from Wheaton College at the North Central Invite.

This week sees the men's and women's basketball teams continue with their season with some non-conference matchups, the women are on the road playing Dominican University and  Columbia College (Mo). The men are also on the road as they take on Loras and Eastern Illlinois.
