Melchor, Congi Named Athletes of the Week

CARLINVILLE, IL- Juniors Brianna Melchor and Royce Congi earned Blackburn College Athletes of the Week.

Melchor is contbuting to Softballs success especially these last stretch of games this past week against Webster and Lyon. Her hitting % was .237, 3 RBIs, and 4 runs. 

Congi led Baseball with 2 home runs, 2 doubles, and has a batting average of .454.

Both Softball and Baseball have a busy week of games and they are competing for a slot in the SLIAC tournament. Softball plays at home tomorrow 4/23 and Baseball is playing this Saturday 4/26 at the Beaver dome!
