Senior Becca Benoit averaged 8.5 points over their last two matchups of the season, Greenville and their win over Maranatha Baptist. She also recorded 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. The senior guard provided steady leadership and energy on both ends of the floor, making key plays that sparked momentum for the Beavers. Her defensive intensity and ability to contribute across the stat sheet helped anchor the team as they closed out the season on a strong note.
Senior Royce Congi led the Beavers in their season and home opener in a sweep against Monmouth. Congi led the team with three hits, added an RBI and a double at the plate, and was dominant on the mound, allowing just one hit and one earned run over eight innings. The senior's all-around performance set the tone for the series, showcasing leadership, composure, and control as the Beavers opened their season with an impressive sweep.
The baseball team is back at home this Saturday as they take on St. Norbert, and they will face them again on Sunday. Softball's season and home opener is this Saturday against Monmouth. The men's and women's track teams are on the road competing at the SLIAC Championship, while wrestling is also traveling to compete at the NCAA Regionals.
