Bradley, Toss earn Blackburn Athlete of the Week

CARLINVILLE, IL — Freshmen Isabella Bradley and Tristan Toss earned Blackburn Athlete of the Week honors.

Freshman Isabella Bradley turned in a record-breaking performance at the Millikin Big Blue Opener. Competing in the 400 meters, Bradley set a new school record with a time of 1:14.32, surpassing the previous mark of 1:17.00. Her standout performance highlights a strong start to the outdoor track season and sets the tone for what's to come.

Freshman Tristan Toss delivered a record-setting performance at the Millikin Big Blue Opener. Toss reset the school standard in both the 100 meters (11.50) and 200 meters (23.24), showcasing his speed on the track. He also raised the bar in the long jump, breaking his own school record with a leap of 5.95 meters. His all-around standout performance marked an impressive start to the outdoor season.

Both men's and women's track are back this Thursday at the IC Thursday Throwdown. Baseball will compete on Tuesday against Maranatha Baptist and this weekend against Lyon College. Softball will also compete at home vs. Westminster College this Tuesday, Thursday vs. Webster, and then travel to Lyon for a doubleheader on Saturday.
