Blackburn Hosts Rose-Hulman
CARLINVILLE, IL -- Blackburn College Baseball hosted Rose Hulman Institute of Technology Tuesday afternoon in nonconference action. The Beavers were unable to overcome a strong offensive performance from the visitors and fell 20-4.

CARLINVILLE, IL -- Blackburn College Baseball hosted Rose Hulman Institute of Technology Tuesday afternoon in nonconference action. The Beavers were unable to overcome a strong offensive performance from the visitors and fell 20-4.
In the third inning, Blackburn got on the board with two runs. Freshman Isaiah Mckenzie started with a walk before senior Royce Congi doubled to move him to third. Freshman Joey Congi followed with a ground out but scored Mckenzie on the play. Sophomore Jordan Kelly came up next and knocked in R. Congi.
The Beavers addd two more in the sixth. Senior Will Mason and junior Pedro Medina walked to open the inning. With two outs, freshman Isaiah Peterson-Pruitt hit a double to center field to score both Medina and Mason.
The Beavers fall to 15-12 on the season and will return to St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday and Sunday with a three-game series at Westminster College.
