Hall, Wrightsman Leads Field at Blackburn Invite

AUBURN, IL -- Juniors Kevin Hall and Bryce Wrightsman tied for first place to lead the Blackburn College Men's Golf team to a victory in the Beaver Invite Monday. 

Hall and Wrightsman both led the field with a final round score of 77 each. Freshman Jordan Williams took third with an 84 and junior Justin Atkinson was right behind with an 85. Freshman Andrew Spurlock followed in fifth with an 86 while juniors Ryan Farris and Nick Rosborough shot an 88 and tied for sixth. 

The Beavers fielded two teams during the event with the team of Hall, Williams, Spurlock, Farris and freshman Josh Feeley taking first and posted a team score of 335. Wrightsman, Atkinson, Rosborough and senior Jacob Sauvage took second and shot 342. 

Both teams defeated Eureka College. 

The Beavers are in action again Tuesday at the IC Invitational in Jacksonville. They then head to the Fightin' Scots Invitational Saturday and Sunday.
