Men's Golf Takes Second at IC Fall Invite

JACKSONVILLE, IL -- Blackburn College Men's Golf took second place Tuesday at the Illinois College Fall Invite, played at The Links Golf Course.

Junior Bryce Wrightsman led the team with a round score of 75 which put him in a tie for second overall. Junior Kevin Hall and freshman Andrew Spurlock both shot a 78 to finish in a tie for third. Junior Justin Atkinson, 86, and junior Nick Rosborough, 88, rounded out the team. 

As a team, Blackburn finished with a score of 317 to take second, ahead of Eureka College's 378. The hosts won the event with a score of 303. 

The Beavers return to action Saturday and Sunday when they head to Monmouth, Illinois for the Fightin' Scots Invitational played at the Gibson Woods Golf Course.
