LOUISVILLE, KY -- The Blackburn College Men's Soccer team continued St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play Saturday by visiting Spalding University. The Beavers scored the lone first half goal, but were unable to hold on as they fell 5-1 Saturday afternoon.
The Beavers got on the board in the 21st minute when freshman Henry Ibarguen scored unassisted for his second goal of the season.
However, the Golden Eagles took control in the second half with five goals to capture the 5-1 win.
Blackburn will return to action Tuesday when they visit SLIAC foe Principia University for more conference action.
