CARLINVILLE, IL -- The Blackburn College Men's Soccer team hosted regional power Illinois Wesleyan University in the team's home opener but were unable to pull off the upset.
The Titans undefeated Titans managed to take an early lead which they held on to throughout the match to win 4-1.
Blackburn faced a 3-0 deficit in the 71st minute when freshman Antonio Baca scored his first career goal. Freshman Salvador Paz and Henry Ibarguen-Londono were recorded with the assists.
The Beavers are now 3-2 on the season and return to action Saturday when they host Spurgeon College.
