CARLINVILLE, IL -- Blackburn College Men's Soccer scored less than four minutes into the match, but Principia College was able to answer with two unanswered goals to defeat the Beavers 2-1 in the final game of the season for BC.
The Beavers got on the board early in the contest when sophomore Cristian Cazares scored his second goal of the season just 3:45. Blackburn took possesion from the Panthers and found sophomore Corbin Bochinski along the right sideline. He was able to get past a Principia defender and found Cazares in the middle of the box, who smashed it into the top right corner of the net.
However, the Panthers answered five minutes later to tie it, then added another goal in the 48th minutes. BC would finish the game outshooting Principa 14-11 but were unable to capitalize late, falling 2-1.
With the end of the game, the 2025 Blackburn Men's Soccer season comes to a close.
