Beavers Win BC Invite as Tuetken Leads Field

AUBURN, IL -- Blackburn College Women's Golf was in action last week and defeated Eureka College and Westminster College at the Blackburn College Invite played at the Edgewood Golf Course in Auburn, Illinois.
On Thursday, the Beavers defeated both Eureka and Westminster, winning with a team score of 428 while Eureka tallied a 444 and Westminster was at 449. The next day saw BC defeat Westminster 427-456.
The Beavers were led by junior Caidy Tuetken who led the field with a score of 88 on day one and an 89 on day two. Junior Allison Woolard took second with 93 first round and 93 during the second day.
Senior Keeleigh Pilcher also finished amonst the top ten while Rylee Lovelace also competed.
The meet marks the end of the year for the women's golf team.
