Blackburn Competes at Millikin Open

DECATUR, IL -- The Blackburn College Wrestling Team took part in the Millikin Open Saturday and saw five wrestlers pick up victory. 

Sophomore Tyler Tarallo, at 157, led the Beavers with two wins. In his first match he won by technical fall at 3:09 to win 15-0. After falling in his second match, he won his next match but was unable to continue due to injury. 

Freshman Daishaun Wilbourne won his second match of the day at 3:31 by fall to win 3-0 at 133.

At 285, junior Jaidyn Lee won 3-0 by a fall at the 16 second mark. 

Freshman Robert Tucker, 184, freshmen Devin Hansel, 197, and Spencer Walker, 285, advanced to the second round thanks to a first round bye. 

The wrestling team enjoys a some time way from competition before heading to the Coe College Invite on Saturday, November 22.
