Women's Soccer Releases 2025 Season Schedule
CARLINVILLE, IL -- The Blackburn College Women's Soccer team has released their 2025 season schedule which features nine home matches for the new look program.
CARLINVILLE, IL -- The Blackburn College Women's Soccer team has released their 2025 season schedule which features nine home matches for the new look program.
The team starts the season with a scrimmage, hosting Kaskaskia College on August 25. They begin regular season play with four straight road games, beginning September 2 by visiting the University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy at St. Louis University High School. They then head to Columbia, Missouri to take on Stephens College on September 6 followed by a visit to Monmouth College September 8. The road trip concludes September 11 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at Mount Mary University.
A five-game homestand happens next with the Beavers hosting Spurgeon College September 13. They host Lincoln Land Community College September 16 and Maranatha Baptist University September 19. They then host Hannibal Lagrange College September 23.
Blackburn enters St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action September 27 when they host Greenville College on Homecoming before hitting the road to take on Westminster College October 1 and Spalding University October 8.
October 11 sees the team return to their home pitch to take on Lyon College before hosting Faith Baptist Bible College on October 14 for their final nonconference match of the season.
A return to SLIAC play features the Beavers hosting Eureka College October 18 in a match that will also be Senior Day. Blackburn then heads to Webster University October 21 and to Mississippi University for Women October 24. The season wraps up October 28 with a home match against Principia College.
Led by Director of Soccer, Josh Oswald and Head Coach Andy Arterburn begin their first full season leading the women's program after taking over late last season. The team returns five players from last season who will help give the team experience and leadership while the team expects 10 newcomers to help provide depth and bring a new energy to the program.
