Volleyball Opens Home Slate With Westminster
CARLINVILLE, IL -- Blackburn College Volleyball opened the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference season by hosting Westminster College in the team's home opener. The Blue Jays proved too much for the Beavers as Westminster took the 3-0 win.

CARLINVILLE, IL -- Blackburn College Volleyball opened the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference season by hosting Westminster College in the team's home opener. The Blue Jays proved too much for the Beavers as Westminster took the 3-0 win.
Senior Cara Pence led the attack with 13 kills while senior Jessica Muckensturm added eight. Sophomore Kenadee Frey chipped in with 27 assists.
Sophomore Bailey Bennett and Frey paced the defense with 12 digs each with Pence adding 11.
The Beavers continue conference play Saturday when they head to Principia College to take on Principia and Fontbonne University.
