Blackburn Falls in SLIAC Tourney
ST. LOUIS, MO -- The Blackburn College Volleyball team visited Fontbonne University in the first round of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Thursday night.

ST. LOUIS, MO -- The Blackburn College Volleyball team visited Fontbonne University in the first round of the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Thursday night but were unable to capture an upset as they fell to the Griffins 3-0.
Leading the team was senior Cara Pence with 12 kills. Sophomore Kenadee Frey added 23 assists while senior Abygail Sobczak and junior Payton Moeglin chipped in with two aces each.
Frey also led the defense with nine digs. Moeglin finished with eight while Pence and Moeglin both had seven.
With the result, the 2024 volleyball season comes to an end.
