TERRE HAUTE, IN -- The Blackburn College Volleyball team visited Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Wednesday in nonconference action but fell to the Engineers 3-0.
Sophomore Rean Ward led the team's offensive attack with six kills. Freshman Rylea Black had five and senior Zoe Mitchell added four.
Junior Kenadee Frey tallied 13 assists.
Senior Payton Moeglin and freshman Elexus Frey finished with a team-best 12 digs each. K. Frey posted 10.
RHIT took the match with set wins of 25-11, 25-17 and 25-12.
Blackburn returns to action Saturday when they host Westminster College in the team's St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference home opener.
