Women's Cross Country Runs in Bradley Intercollegiate Championships
PEORIA, IL -- The Women's Cross Country team for Blackburn College competed in the Bradley Intercollegiate Championships Friday evening where they ran against several schools that offer athletic scholarships.
Freshman Alexis Johnson paced the team with a time of 22:32.90. Sophomores Gracie Jent, 26:39.00 and Kailynn Kruep, 29:36.80 were the next to BC runners across the finish line. Helping to give the Beavers five finishers were freshman Caitlin Rainey and Breana Allen. Rainey completed the course in 30:51.00 with Allen crossing in 33:44.80.
Also competing were Michelle Hollon and A'Santianna Austin.
Blackburn ran in a field of 10 different teams.
BC will head to Principia College on Wednesday October 9 for their next meet.
