Women's Cross Country Makes 2025 Meet Schedule Available
CARLINVILLE, IL -- The Blackburn College Cross Country programs have released their 2025 meet schedule and sees them compete against all levels of collegiate runners.
CARLINVILLE, IL -- The Blackburn College Cross Country programs have released their 2025 meet schedule and sees them compete against all levels of collegiate runners.
The season starts with the Webster Opener which will take place on Friday, August 29. The women's team gets things started with a 5k which starts at 5:30 pm, followed by the men's 6k at 6:15 pm.
September 5 sees the teams travel to the University of Illinois Springfield Hy-Vee Prairie Stars Invitational where the women's 5k starts at 5:30 pm and the men follow with a 7k and a 6:15 pm start time.
The teams then take a break from competition before returning to action October 8 at the Principia College Twilight meet where the men get things started at 4:30 pm with an 8k before the women take off at 5:30 pm to race a 6k.
On October 17, the teams head to Bradley University for the Bradley Pink Classic. The women start the day at 3:15 pm by running a 6k which the men follow at 4 pm and will run another 8k.
The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships take place on Saturday, November 1 at Buder Park in St. Louis, MO. The women's 6k championship race starts at 11 am while the men run an 8k and start at 11:45 am.
The season is scheduled to conclude with the teams competing in the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship on November 15 at Wartburg College. The women run a 6k at 11:15 am and the men run an 8k at 12:15 pm.
