Women's Cross Country Competes at SLIAC Championships
VALLEY PARK, MO -- Blackburn College Women's Cross Country competed at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships Saturday and saw three finish among the top 30 runners while the team also defeated Webster University.
Senior Gracie Jent led the way as her time of 29:31.48 put her in 21st place. She was also placed on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Freshman Sophia Palmier placed 27 and finished in 31.19.66.
Freshman Mary Ahrens, 32:10, placed 30th.
Freshman Kaitlyn Garland, Maya Bennett and Hunter Kirk rounded out the team's runners.
The Beavers finished seventh overall and was 10 points ahead of Webster, and Eureka who did not score. The team's 139 points is also as 23 point improvement over their 2024 results.
